Bruna Singh supports clients and project teams in advancing responsible sourcing and business and human rights objectives, contributing to supply chain due diligence, risk assessments, and the translation of international frameworks into practical, actionable guidance.
Bruna brings experience across consultancy, research, and field-based human rights work. Prior to joining Levin Sources, she led projects at the FAU Human Rights Clinics in Germany, focusing on corporate accountability, extractive industries, and energy transition supply chains. She managed research teams, designed methodologies, and delivered analytical outputs, including reports and litigation trackers. Her work on just transition issues sparked a particular interest in how climate and energy policies intersect with inequality and human rights.
Earlier, Bruna worked in Business and Human Rights Consultancy in Brazil, supporting mining and agribusiness clients and investors on due diligence and ESG risks. She assessed land tenure conflicts, Indigenous rights, labour conditions, and community impacts in high-risk contexts. This experience strengthened her practical understanding of supply chain risks, particularly in relation to land and natural resource governance.
Her commitment to human rights is rooted in earlier work with migrants, refugees, modern slavery victims, and survivors of domestic violence, which shaped her understanding of structural vulnerability and motivated her career in advancing corporate accountability. Bruna is completing her Doctorate in Business and Human Rights at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, as part of the International Doctoral Programme on Business and Human Rights, where her research focuses on the concept of leverage within the legal framework. She also holds an MSc in Human Rights and International Politics from the University of Glasgow, where she studied as a Chevening Scholar, and a Bachelor of Laws from the University Centre of Curitiba, Brazil.
Bruna speaks Portuguese (native), English, and Spanish, and has intermediate proficiency (B1 level) in French and German. She is based in Exeter, United Kingdom.
