Danguole (Danni) Kleinaityte-Elamin is a human rights professional with expertise in the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. Since joining Levin Sources, Danni has advised businesses on value chain due diligence, human rights and environmental risk assessments, raw materials risk profiles, supplier assessment and management, and policy drafting.

Prior to joining Levin Sources, Danni worked on labour rights issues in the garment industry, focusing on some of the most vulnerable communities and severe impacts on workers and communities. In her last role at the Dalit Solidarity Network (DSN-UK), she led the NGO’s business and human rights work through the Ethical Trading Initiative, engaging with other organisations, companies and trade unions to improve labour rights and standards in global supply chains.

Danni also led the United Nations advocacy programme at the International Dalit Solidarity Network by connecting grassroots and national organisations of Dalit rights advocates with UN mechanisms and government representatives in Geneva. The programme aimed to address caste-based and other intersecting forms of discrimination and disadvantage including in the areas of labour rights, access to justice and economic and social rights.

Danni has a Master's degree in Understanding and Securing Human Rights from the School of Advanced Study, University of London and a Bachelor's degree in International Development with International Relations from the University of Leeds. Prior to her studies, she spent three years volunteering in various countries, including in Mozambique, Albania and India. She is fluent in Lithuanian and English and can hold a day-to-day conversation in Portuguese. Danni is based in London.
